Designing for ‘Jay-Customers’, ‘Negative Personas’, and Service Abuse
Reading this article, I realized that service designers, myself included, often design optimistically– that is to say, we design for all kinds of users, but we naively assume that whatever their needs and motivations are, they have good intentions overall.
Design Considerations:
Acknowledging that some people are out there with every intention to take advantage of systems and services – how might we protect the intended usage of the service without hurting “good” users?
